State & William

Owner-side coordination across procurement, trades and the details connecting a project’s plans to its closeout.

A connected owner-side role

At State & William in Ann Arbor, Claus Consulting supported the owner with coordination, procurement and follow-through across the project team. The role included furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), trades, reporting, inspection coordination, punch and closeout.

The emphasis was on making responsibilities, outstanding items and owner decisions visible. Architectural design and construction workmanship belong to the respective design and contracting teams, not Claus Consulting.

Scope of involvement

  • Owner-side communication and coordination
  • Procurement and FF&E coordination
  • Trade follow-up and project reporting
  • Inspection readiness and coordination
  • Punch-list and closeout tracking
